22 episodes in and guess what?! There's no stopping us. The Morph Harder Podcast is here to serve up the finest in hard dance music from across it's varied and awe inspiring spectrum. This episode is slightly different. No guest, but a feature mix from myself, an exclusive live set from Future focus in September last year all in anticipation of the upcoming event Future Focus Kick-Ons: CLSM Album Launch Party on the 27th April at the Orange Rooms Southampton.

EPISODE 20: DJ SHIMAMURA February 2024

2024 is a new year and what an exciting one lies ahead for this humble little podcast. This passion project started with an idea to create a regular series where I could showcase the enormous variety of music in the harder styles, to bridge the gap between scenes, and eventually to showcase phenomenal talent in the form of guest mixes. It was always the intention to push new sounds and expose new perspectives on the hard dance music family of genres. All of this year's guests will be carefully selected in line with the Morph Harder vision and ethos.

So for this first guest slot of 2024 I am proud to present to you one of Japan's top production talents, the hugely versatile and unmistakable DJ Shimamura. Bringing the happy hardcore sound to the table in all it's guises taking influences from across it's rich history, Shimamura's style not only honors the past but brings in the future, a bright future at that.

EPISODE 17: OKIDAM NOVEMBER 2023

In Memory of Brandon “OKIDAM” Okamoto R.I.P.

This episode is a special one. At the end of October we lost a brave and wonderful soul Brandon Okamoto aka DJ Okidam. He finally lost his batter with lung cancer but he managed to do so at home with his family after a long spell in hospital. A few weeks before his passing I asked Okidam to submit a guest mix to feature on this podcast something he had expressed an interest in in the past, I was only too glad to oblige, the mix is a banger.

So along with the usual offering Okidam will be laying down for you posthumously a fantastic mix of breakbeat hardcore, freeform, and hardcore. You are really in for a treat, even if a little bitter sweet.

Episode 16: AKI October 2023

Today the Morph Harder Podcast goes international, all the way to the far east (from my humble English perspective anyway). This months guest slot is taken up by the wonderful and talented human that is Aki, all the way from Japan. Aki is based in Tokyo and i first came across his work through participation in the Remix Everything Video Game Edition charity album project, where his track Hideaki Shimizu - Old & Gebol (Aki's Hardcore Remix)

was voted no.1 by the artists involved. It is killer and I featured it on last month's episode, so go check it out and along with how to buy the album and support the project.

Myself and M-Rei are about to embark on an Asian adventure in October travelling to Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan in three weeks, so it only seemed fitting to represent music from that splendid and far away continent.

Rave fans and music lovers the fifteenth installment of The Morph Harder Podcast has you covered. episode 14: Dave Skywalker August 2023

Following hot on the tail of the last episode is the Morph Harder Podcasts fourteenth installment. This episode features one of hardcore rave's living legends, it's none other than Dave Skywalker!

Owner of Endor Recordings, BangFace resident, creator of the Remix Everything charity album project, and purveyor of all things rave including a recent move into 4x4 drum and bass under his alias Staccatissimo, Dave really is a supreme presence in the scene.

Episode 13 is here and we are already off to a strong start for year two of the Morph Harde Podcast. Apart from giving the brand a lick of paint (something i will probably do ever year) the format remains the same. episode 12: STUFFED ANIMAL JUNE 2023

We made it Morphers! One whole year of the Morph Harder Podcast! I would never have thought I would make it to one whole year of the project as there was always concern it would be a distraction from writing music, however the opposite has been true, thanks to your support in donating, downloading, sharing, and emailing me, it has kept me inspired and engaged all year long.

Before I go on to talk about this months offering, I would like to thank all the superb guests that have featured, not only have they introduced me to new music through their mixes, they have enriched the diversity of the podcast, whilst fully embracing the Morph Harder philosophy. EPISODE 06: DEFECTIVE DECEMBER 2022

EPISODE 05: D-WILLZ & M-REI NOVEMBER 2022

I cannot believe it we have made it to episode 5 of the podcast! Time waits for no animal, vegetable, or indeed mineral, so we push forward with an explosive jumbo sized episode of 40 high quality rave tracks from across the hard dance spectrum.

Despite guests being a recent addition to this podcast the first being last week, I have received so many quality mixes that this necessitates a double feature! These two artists are totally different in their offering in both mixing style and genre. We have D-Willz with a blistering reverse bass hardstyle mix, and M-Rei with a hard and fast 100% J-Core mix.

You are certainly in for a treat as what these artists offer is undeniable talented as well as passion for their genres.

Here we are, Episode TWO of THE MORPH HARDER PODCAST takes you on a wild ride of high energy hard beats.

Continuing the theme, we delve into superb music which morphs with ever increasing increasing intensity.

Kicking off with heavy hitting Tech Trance, Hard Trance, and Hard House, with the likes of Systembreaker, David Rust, and Renegade system. Building up into Hardstyle and U.K. Hardcore featuring the gigantic talents of Darren Styles, TNT, and Hixxy.

Then on to the underground sounds of Freeform with the creative work of artists such as Rikki Arkitech, Eryk Orpheus, Fracus, and A.B.

Finally we get more uptempo finishing the offering with the kick drum delights of artists such as Massive New Krew, USAO, and Mandidextrous.

So lots to get your ears wrapped around, and this is only a selection.
